THLord Giovanni has been active in the SCA for quite a while, and is a squire to Sir Fiachna mac Phiaraic and a member of House Fanciyam. He has served as both Marshal of the Shire of Tir Briste and as Kingdom Archery Marshal (a title which was later changed to Deputy Earl Marshal of Combat Archery and Siege Engines). He has been Tir Briste's Shire Champion twice, and also has that Shire's service award. He is a superb fighter, routinely placing high in tourneys and defeating Knights on the field (we've been watching), and He autocratted Champions' List IV in September of A.S XXXII (1997), and Champions' List VII in October of A.S. XXXVI (2001). He authored and produced "the Inquisition" at Midnight in the Garden of Good and Medieval in August of A.S. XXXIV (1999), and "Clown List: the Faux Pas" at Fools' War XII in April of A.S. XXXV (2001), and was onboard as Goobercrat for Fools' War XIII where he ran his production "The Fools' War Gong Show". He is the former Weard (Warden) of the Southern Consortium of Shires, and also the former Editor of The Southern Watch (the Consortium Newsletter) and has served ably as Royal Entourage.
Lord Giovanni comes delightedly attached at the leash to Mistress Yseult de Montagu, is a wit and a charmer, and we are more than pleased to have him as an Honored Guest of the household. He makes his home in the Shire of Tir Briste, and his name and device both are registered with the college of arms.
