"Another Meridian Lullaby"

Night is fallen over the land.
Sleep holds the wee ones soft in her hand.
Shadows beckon; seas rise and fall.
Star-crowned the banner over us all.
Soft may you slumber more sweetly to dream.
Legends and heroes are what they seem.
May you find honor and may you find praise.
Sweet be your slumbers, Meridies.

Nightbirds calling; warm rivers flow.
Sweet voices singing by emberglow.
Pinewoods whisper; green willows sigh.
Towers of silver touching the sky.
Evening sings softly to lull you to sleep,
Memories shimmer, though the skies weep.
May you find visions that you may impart.
Dreams are the memories born of the heart.
